At Into the Woods, we give guests the time and space to disconnect from the city and reconnect with the mind, body and soul. 

Our guests have enjoyed painting by the beach at sunset, setting up wine and cheese boards under the night sky, reading themselves to sleep in a hammock… or simply just doing nothing at all.

Into the Woods is best enjoyed at your own pace. Leave the stress of following a recommended itinerary behind — and give yourself the space to do only what sparks joy, and the time to savour every moment.

Our spacious compound is home to only nine cosy, canvas tents. They’re well spaced out along the shoreline and guests will be able to retreat into the privacy of their tent or relax on their personal beachfront decks.

There is also a communal tent where you can make new friends over games and chats.

Whether you choose to spend time exploring the beautiful Lazarus Island or meditate in silence under your tent, we hope every guest gets to discover the simple joys of slow living.

• Toothbrush and toothpaste — these won’t be provided to reduce single-use waste
• Slippers or flip-flops for easy walking to the communal bathroom and strolling along the beach
• Hats, sunblock and insect repellent to comfortably immerse in nature
• Swimsuit, floats, personal sea-sport equipments for frolicking in the sea
• Food and drinks for cooking and drinking under the stars
• Books, journals, frisbees or anything that helps you relax and enjoy time with your loved ones

And of course an open mind and an adventurous spirit — so you can take in all that Into the Woods and Lazarus Island have to offer.

In an era of fast food and take-outs, cooking is a great way to slow down and practise mindful living. Bring along some fresh ingredients and prepare a homecooked meal with your loved ones. Basic cooking equipments, condiments and utensils are provided in the tent. Refer to Dine for more details.

We understand the importance of staying connected, even during a retreat in nature. That’s why we offer WiFi powered by Starlink for our guests.

While we encourage disconnecting from the hustle and bustle of daily life, we recognize that sometimes it’s necessary to check emails or stay in touch. Our WiFi service allows you to do just that while still enjoying the tranquility and isolation of our retreat.

As advocates of the slow living philosophy, we prioritize our staff’s well-being by allowing them ample time to prepare tents to meet our high standards. Consequently, we do not accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests.

Nevertheless, we acknowledge your wish to make the most of your time exploring the island, and thus, we provide a luggage storage service for your convenience.
